1. Data We Process

Taan Mind may process chat content, document metadata, OCR text, configuration data, and document references required to provide AI chat, search, inline assistance, and document workflows.

2. Why We Process Data

Data is processed only to operate core product functionality: AI responses, document indexing, OCR, metadata enrichment, inline rewrites, KPI dashboards, and usage reliability.

3. Storage and Security

The project is designed for controlled deployments with app-owned storage and server-side Paperless access. No system is 100% secure, so avoid highly sensitive data unless you control and harden the deployment environment.

4. Third-Party Providers

AI providers, OpenRouter models, Ollama runtimes, hosting platforms, or infrastructure services configured by you may process data under their own policies. You are responsible for reviewing those providers.
